The Egg Mon Speaketh: Listen to My Interview on the Scottish Golf Podcast

About a month into my recent extended stay in Scotland I received an email from Ru Macdonald of the Scottish Golf Podcast. He'd stumbled upon my blog and wondered if I'd be willing to share my experiences.

Talk about a pleasant surprise!

I wasn't familiar with Ru or his work. But I got up to speed quickly and let him know that I'd be delighted to participate. I had just one caveat: Let's hold off on the conversation until after I'd completed my trip, increasing the chances that I'd have some interesting stories to tell.

Well, I am now chuffed (Scottish for pleased) to say that my multimedia debut is now live and available for your listening pleasure. Credit Ru for one heckuva editing job. I sound almost coherent, a minor miracle given that I'm usually the one doing the asking not the answering.

Just click here to beam it in.

And while you're there, I heartily recommend that you work your way through Ru's backlog of podcasts (mine is No. 48). I've been doing just that on my commute home from the day job. Without fail, I come away inspired by the joys of true links golf and reenergized to do whatever I can to return to Scotland to experience it for myself again and again.

Oh, and while that's happening, the frustrations of LA's rush hour traffic magically fade away. Now that's what I call a win-win!
